Call for Short Papers
Overview
The ACM Multimedia Asia 2025 Conference will be held in Malaysia from December 9 to 12, 2025. As a flagship international forum for multimedia research and innovation in the Asia-Pacific region, the conference covers all aspects of multimedia technologies, including representation, analysis, generation, interaction, and delivery across modalities such as images, text, video, audio (speech, music), and sensor data.
The Short Paper Track invites submissions of novel, original, and promising works-in-progress that present preliminary results, innovative methodologies, or emerging ideas in multimedia research. Compared to full papers, short papers may have narrower scope or more limited validation but should still demonstrate novelty and potential for significant impact.
Short papers provide an excellent opportunity for researchers to share early-stage findings, generate discussion, and receive valuable feedback from the multimedia community. Submissions that open new research directions or explore interdisciplinary applications are especially encouraged.
