Student Travel Grant

Overview

The ACM SIGMM and ACM MM Asia 2025 Organising Committee is pleased to announce the availability of Student Travel Grants. This initiative is designed to encourage a diverse and vibrant student presence by providing financial assistance to attend the conference in person.
SIGMM has centralised support for standard student travel for in-person participation. Any student member of SIGMM is eligible to apply (join SIGMM here). Hence, students who are the first author of an accepted paper (in any track/workshop) are particularly encouraged to apply. The grants can cover any travel expenses such as airfare/shuttle, hotel, and meals.
In addition to being a SIGMM member, the applicant must be enrolled in a university at the time of the application submission.

Selection Criteria

Students being the primary authors of an accepted paper in the main conference or workshops will be given preference in the selection process.
Students without papers accepted for publication at ACM MMSys and related workshops but involved in research closely related to the topics of ACM MMSys and related workshops can also be considered.
Female and minority students' applications are especially encouraged.

Application Procedure

The application window opens on October 1, 2025, and will close on October 20, 2025.
Applications will be reviewed right after the deadline and the applicants will be notified in due time.
